Cost of Living: Given that Hungary's neighbors produce the finest beer in the world and the general cost of living is rather low by Western standards, this is understandable. Universities and public schools provide housing and expenses (including local transport and a 50 percent discount on national trains) and make sure that all the paperwork is in order.

Student life in Hungary: Outside the classroom, students enjoy a rich cultural and social life. Hungary offers its students a wide verity of museum visits, concerts and jazz club evenings, visits to spas, palaces and churches and regular evening events. There is always something going on and something to do on weekends. Hungary has an excellent bus and metro system, which makes the city’s main features easily accessible.
